Overheard at Schiller’s last night between a strapping Australian and stunning trader-type (read: tall, built, smiley):

Cute Trader boy: “Hey, so my misses and I were thinking of going to The Melbourne Cup next year- what do you think?”

Australian: “Mate, of course you should. It’s a show in over excess. The Kentucky derby on crack.”

C.T.B.: “Yo, we should get the boys together and all go, the girls can keep each other company while we drink our faces of. It’ll be amazing.

Australian: ”Done”

C.T.B.: “Done”

Australian: “Depending on the market of course.”

C.T.B.: “Well, yeah.”

Keep the faith ladies, even though we take a clear second place to the market’s movements, we’re still on their minds.
